- crackers or apple slices for dipping
Directions
- 1
Let the Boursin come to room temperature for 15 minutes. (Optional – this just makes it easier to spread, dip, and eat.)
- 2
Grab a pretty plate or platter – even just a nice dinner plate will work. Use the back of a spoon to press the Boursin onto the plate in an even layer.
- 3
Top with the pistachios. Drizzle with hot honey.
- 4
Serve with crackers or apple slices. I like to throw a small spoon on the plate to make it easier to spread the dip on the crackers. It’s so good!

About this Recipe
Searching for a last-minute appetizer that truly impresses without the fuss? This delightful Boursin appetizer with pistachios and hot honey is an absolute game-changer, coming together in mere minutes.
The magic lies in its stunning simplicity and the perfect harmony of textures and flavors. You get the rich, creamy Boursin cheese perfectly balanced by the satisfying crunch of roasted pistachios and a tantalizing drizzle of sweet, spicy hot honey. It's an elegant yet incredibly easy appetizer that tastes far more complex than its three main ingredients suggest.
Prepare for a symphony of tastes and sensations. Each bite offers the smooth, herbaceous tang of Boursin, especially if you opt for the classic garlic herb flavor. This gives way to the earthy, slightly salty snap of the pistachios, all brightened and warmed by the unique kick of hot honey. It’s a beautifully balanced cheese appetizer that feels sophisticated yet utterly comforting. This simple assembly is designed for effortless entertaining, promising a gourmet experience that won't tie you to the kitchen.
While the garlic herb Boursin is a fantastic starting point, feel free to experiment with other Boursin flavors like black pepper or shallot & chive for a subtle twist. If you don't have pistachios on hand, chopped roasted almonds, walnuts, or pecans would also provide a lovely crunch. For dipping, expand beyond crackers and apple slices to include pear slices, pretzels, or even crisp bell pepper strips.
This Boursin appetizer is ideal for holiday gatherings, impromptu get-togethers, or as an elegant starter for any dinner party. Serve it artfully arranged on a platter with your chosen dippers, allowing guests to easily scoop and enjoy this delightful combination.
