  • breakfast pork sausage
    12 oz
  • buttermilk
    1 ½ c
  • shredded colby jack cheese
    1 c
  • butter

    8 tablespoons

    1 stick
  • all purpose flour
    2 c
  • sugar
    1 tbsp
  • baking powder
    1 ¼ tbsp
  • salt
    ½ tsp

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

    Place butter in a 8X8 or 9X9 baking dish. Place the dish in the microwave or oven and melt butter. (if metal don't use microwave)

    In a skillet over medium heat cook pork sausage until no longer pink and drain.

    In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together. Fold in cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
