  • 1 ½ cups shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups diced hash brown potatoes

Directions

Butter or lightly spray with non-stick spray, a casserole dish or 13x9-inch pan. Place the broccoli potato mixture in the prepared casserole dish, and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup cheese over the top of the casserole.

    Bake, covered, in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Carefully uncover, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is starting to brown, and the casserole is bubbling.

    Remove the casserole from the oven, and let sit to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
