Chocolate Oat Flour Pancakes (Gluten Free)

Chocolate oat flour pancakes are made from a mixture of oat flour and cocoa powder. These fluffy pancakes are so easy to make and they only require 8 simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 tbsp oil (light olive oil, refined coconut oil, or canola oil)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup oat flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda

Directions

    In a medium bowl whisk the wet ingredients until combined and smooth: egg, milk, oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

    Now add in the dry ingredients: oat flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix until combined and smooth.

    Preheat you pan over medium heat and let your batter rest for a minute or two.

    Scoop the batter onto the heated pan. Cook the pancakes for about 1-2 minutes or until the start to bubble. Flip each pancake and cook for another minute or two. Repeat this process until all the batter is gone.
