This creamy coleslaw is a classic southern recipe made with shredded cabbage, carrots, and a sweet creamy dressing. Serve this coleslaw up with some delicious barbecue or fried fish for an authentic southern meal!

Ingredients

  • 1, 10- ounce bag of shredded cabbage (such as Dole Angel Hair Coleslaw)
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cracked black pepper (to taste)

Directions

    In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until everything is combined.
