Packed with vibrant salad greens, juicy diced chicken, creamy avocado, and crispy bacon, this Cobb Salad is a colorful feast that bursts with flavor, complemented by a tangy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 6 cupsmixed salad greens (such as romaine, iceberg, and watercress), washed and chopped
  • 2 cupscooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cupcherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1avocado, diced
  • 4hard-boiled eggs, peeled and quartered
  • 1 cupblue cheese, crumbled
  • 8slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • ½ cupchopped chives

  • ¼ cupred wine vinegar
  • ½lemon, juiced
  • 2 teaspoonsdijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoonsworcestershire sauce
  • 1 smallgarlic clove, minced
  • ½ teaspoonkosher salt
  • ½ teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cupolive oil

Directions

    Start by preparing the dressing. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

    Slowly whisk in the olive oil until the dressing is emulsified. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside.

    Place the mixed salad greens on a large platter or in a large serving bowl.

    Arrange the chicken, cherry tomatoes, avocado, eggs, blue cheese, and bacon in neat, separated rows on top of the greens.

    Sprinkle the chopped chives over the salad.

    Just before serving, drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine, or serve the dressing on the side for guests to add as desired.
