Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbsground beef (80/20)
  • 1packet french onion soup mix (1 oz)
  • 1 tbspworcestershire sauce
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 tsponion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4slices swiss cheese
  • 1 largeonion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbspolive oil
  • 2 tbspbeef broth or water

Directions

    In a bowl, mix ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

    Form into a loaf shape and place in the slow cooker.

    Caramelize onions in a skillet with olive oil, cook until golden brown, then set aside.
