My Honey Red Chicken is a sure fire crowd pleaser any night for dinner! Instead of going and spending a ton of money on take out, make my honey red chicken, aka honey garlic chicken right in the crockpot. Simple ingredients you most likely already have in your pantry, but combined makes an incredibly easy dinner! We have flavors in this dish such as honey, ketchup, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, and a few more sneaky little extras. Throw some white rice in the rice cooker, serve with some stir fry veggies, and you got yourself a family favorite dinner and you will barely break a sweat. Are you ready? Let's make it!
Season the chicken thighs with chicken bouillon seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the seasonings on both sides of the chicken thighs. Set them aside.
In a measuring cup or bowl, add soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, brown sugar, honey, and rice wine vinegar. Mix that together until combined. In a separate small bowl add in cornstarch and water. Stir that together until combined.
Now, add the seasoned chicken thighs into a crockpot and pour that cornstarch water mixture evenly over the top of the chicken thighs. Then pour the honey red sauce evenly over the chicken thighs.
Pop the lid on your crockpot and set it to high for 4 hours. Serve the chicken alongside white rice and veggies. Enjoy!
