Ingredients

  • ½sweet onion
  • 2 tablespoonschopped fresh dill (or 2 teaspoons dried dill weed)
  • ⅓ cupwhite vinegar (or cider vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoonsvegetable oil (or light olive oil)
  • 2 tablespoonswater
  • 2 teaspoonsgranulated sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Wash the cucumbers and peel if desired. Using a knife or mandoline, thinly slice cucumbers and onions.
