Ingredients

- ½onion
finely diced
- 1 clovegarlic
minced
- ¾ cfarro
- ⅓ corzo
- 14.5 ozchicken broth
1 can
- 2 tbspshredded carrot
- 2 tbspslivered almonds
toasted
- 2 tbspchopped fresh parsley
- ⅛ tspsalt
Directions

Rinse farro under cold water and drain.

Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
