  • 4skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cupbarbecue sauce
  • 22 ouncessauerkraut

    Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Place sauerkraut in a single layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place chicken breasts on top of sauerkraut. Pour barbecue sauce over chicken.

    Cover and bake in the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 30 to 40 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
