Customization & Variations
While turkey is the star, you could easily adapt this recipe. For a bolder flavor, consider using ground lamb or a beef blend. If you prefer more greens, a handful of fresh spinach or finely shredded lettuce would make a welcome addition. For an extra kick, a pinch of red pepper flakes in the turkey mix adds a subtle warmth. You can also swap out the specific fresh vegetables for what you have on hand, like bell peppers or red onion.
These Greek Turkey Tacos are perfect for a busy weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends. Serve them alongside a simple green salad or a bowl of lemon-oregano roasted potatoes for a complete Mediterranean-inspired feast.
