With its tantalizing blend of flavors, hoisin pork tenderloin is a surefire way to elevate your weeknight dinner routine or impress guests at a weekend gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin (if it has silverskin on it remove it.)
  • ½ cup hoisin
  • 1 and ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or cayenne if you like it hot)
  • Green onions for garnish

Directions

    All all the ingredients except the pork to a bowl with a lid or a ziptop bag.

    Cut pork into 2-inch cubes.

    Add the pork to the marinade. Marinate 2 to 12 hours.

    If grilling, add the pork to skewers and preheat the grill to 400℉. Cook, turning to caramelize each side, and cook through.

    If cooking on the stovetop, add the pork to a preheated skillet and cook, turning to caramelize each side, and cook through.

    Serve plain or over rice, garnish with green onions.
