Ingredients

  • 1 poundground beef
  • ¼onion (diced)
  • 1 tablespoonpaprika
  • 1 tspminced garlic
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 ½ cupmilk
  • 2 cupsmacaroni noodles
  • 2 cupscheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 cupmozzarella cheese (grated (pepper jack is a good substitution if you like spicy!))

Directions

    Brown the ground beef and onion in a large skillet (we used cast iron) over medium heat. Drain any remaining fat from the pan.

    Season the beef with the paprika, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir to combine thoroughly.

    Stir in the water, milk and pasta and bring to a boil.

    Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 9-12 minutes until the pasta is al dente.

    Stir in the cheeses over the cooked pasta and heat until the cheese is completely melted.

    Let stand for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
