A healthier recipe for homemade ketchup with no high fructose corn syrup. Instead it's sweetened naturally with honey and it tastes amazing!

Ingredients

  • 6 ozcan tomato paste
  • ¼ cuphoney (or agave*)
  • ½ cupwhite vinegar
  • ¼ cupwater
  • 1 teaspoonsugar
  • ¾ teaspoonsalt
  • ¼ teaspoononion powder
  • ⅛ teaspoongarlic powder

Directions

    Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; whisk until smooth.

    When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.

    Remove from heat and cover until cool.

    Chill and store refrigerated in a covered jar or container.
