Instant Pot BBQ Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs boneless (chicken thighs (about 16-20 pieces- skinless *opt))
  • 1-1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

    Place the chicken in the bottom of the pot.

    Sprinkle the chicken with seasonings.

    Add the bbq sauce & water.

    Cover & cook on manual high for 15 minutes & then natural release for 5 minutes.

    Remove the chicken & turn the cooker on sautee.

    Once it has heated, whisk the bbq sauce liquid remaining in the pot on the sautee function for 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.

    Ladle the thickened sauce over the chicken when serving.
