Fire up the grill, it's burger time! These Jalapeño Bacon Cheddar Burgers are like a beef burger crossed with a jalapeño popper! So flavourful and delicious.
In a large bowl, first mix together the bread and milk into a paste.
Then add the beef, garlic, seasoning salt, pepper, Maggi’s (or soy sauce), Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. Mix well.
Mix in the chopped jalapeño peppers, cheese and bacon.
Shape the mixture into patties. I usually make mine about 5 inches wide and 3/4 inch thick.
The patties are best left to rest in the fridge or freezer for at least 1 hour before barbecuing.
Grill on a medium to high heat grill, taking care not to cook the burgers too fast or the cheese will melt out.
Cook until the burger is well done, with no pink inside.
Serve on a bun with all your favourite trimmings.
Enjoy!
