Mississippi chicken casserole is a creamy casserole with shredded chicken, egg noodles, and pepperoncini. It's quick and easy to put together and makes a great weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 ouncescream cheese, softened
  • ½ cupsour cream
  • 1 cupshredded monterey jack cheese (4 ounces), divided
  • ¼ cupunsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cupbrine from pepperoncini peppers
  • 1package ranch dressing mix
  • 1package au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 3 cupswide egg noodles (6 ounces), cooked according to package directions
  • 3 cupsshredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cupsliced pepperoncini peppers

Directions

    Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

    Stir together cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, melted butter, pepperoncini brine, ranch dressing mix, and au jus gravy mix in a large bowl until well combined. Stir in milk.
