Customization & Variations
- Ginger Swap: If you don't have fresh ginger on hand, the recipe notes you can use 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger instead of the freshly grated kind.
- Spice Level: Adjust the chili pepper flakes to your preference; reduce for a milder taste or add a touch more for an extra kick.
- Ground Beef: While 93% lean ground beef is suggested for a great balance, feel free to use your preferred lean percentage. If using a higher fat content, you might want to drain off excess fat after browning.
This Quick Korean Beef is the ultimate weeknight meal, perfect for a busy family evening. Serve it generously over warm cooked rice, garnished with fresh chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an appealing finish. It's a complete meal that feels special, even on the quickest of nights.
