Homemade bruschetta comes together in no time. Sun-ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, and high-quality balsamic vinegar are key ingredients in this summer appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1loaf french bread, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoonextra-virgin olive oil
  • 8roma (plum) tomatoes, diced

  • 1 ounceparmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoongood quality balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoonsextra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoonkosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper

Directions

    Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
