
Begin to heat olive oil and garlic in a skillet over medium heat.
Once the garlic becomes fragrant, stir in ketchup, onions, Italian seasoning and basil. Lower heat to a low simmer.
Depending on how thin you would like your sauce, stir in 2-3 tablespoon of water. Stirring often, continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and use as desired.
