Homemade Mini Waffles Recipe is made from scratch using mini waffle maker. Made without buttermilk, they have a light and crispy texture with a fluffy interior.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupall purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoonsugar (white / brown / coconut sugar)
  • 2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • ¼ teaspoonsalt
  • 1egg (large)
  • ¾ cupmilk (whole or skim)
  • 3 tablespoonsunsalted butter (melted and cooled to lukewarm)
  • ½ teaspoonvanilla extract

    Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions.

    Whisk all dry ingredients in a small bowl.

    Whisk all wet ingredients in a larger bowl and stir in the flour mixture, until just combined. Do not overmix!Tip: The batter should be thick yet pourable; add a bit more milk if it seems too thick.
