
Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat. Coat the steak in the seasoning until evenly covered. Add avocado oil and once it is hot, sear meat for about 2 minutes each side until golden brown and a nice crust has formed.
Add the steak with the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Cover and cook for 7-8 hours on low heat.
Shred the steak with 2 forks.
Season to taste, garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
