Slow Cooker Shredded Steak Tacos - Brocc Your Body

Ingredients

  • 2 poundsflank steak
  • 2 tablespoonsor taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoonavocado oil
  • 1juice from
  • 1juice from
  • 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 114 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies, excess liquid drained
  • 14 oz can green chilies
  • fresh cilantro leaves to garnish
  • corn or flour tortillas, i prefer corn for this recipe
  • sour cream
  • lettuce
  • avocado
  • hot sauce
  • lime

Directions

    Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat. Coat the steak in the seasoning until evenly covered. Add avocado oil and once it is hot, sear meat for about 2 minutes each side until golden brown and a nice crust has formed.

    Add the steak with the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Cover and cook for 7-8 hours on low heat.

    Shred the steak with 2 forks.

    Season to taste, garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
