Want a simple sweet treat that’s easy to make? Try these homemade apple crescent rolls! This easy vegan recipe uses packaged crescent roll dough and baked apples to create a heavenly pastry that’s perfect for brunch, breakfast, or even an afternoon snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1crisp apple (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoonssugar (i used 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon coconut sugar and stevia)
  • 1 teaspooncinnamon
  • ½ teaspoonsalt
  • 1tube of crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoonsvegan butter (melted)

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.

    Place apples on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

    While apples are baking, mix together sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

    Roll out crescent rolls and lightly brush with vegan butter and sprinkle each with a little of the sugar mixture.

    Roll an apple into each crescent roll and brush the tops with vegan butter and sprinkle more sugar on top. Bake according to package.
