Hibachi chicken served with sautéed vegetables and Yum Yum sauce is every bit as flavorful as an expensive Japanese steakhouse meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless (skinless chicken, cut into cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ large white onion (cut into strips)
  • 2 small zucchini (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (halved)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • ½ large bell pepper (cut into strips)
  • ½ tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Yum Yum Sauce (for serving)

Directions

    Preheat the griddle to medium high heat and warm the vegetable oil and sesame oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

    Again, add vegetable oil and sesame oil to the griddle and heat until warm.
