Saltine Cracker Candy aka Chocolate Toffee Bark

Saltine Cracker Candy aka Chocolate Toffee Bark

30 min

Ingredients

  • Reynolds Disposable Cookie Sheet with Parchment Lining
  • 1 sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (*note: I didn't end up using the colored chips... they were a no-go for melting & spreading)
  • Sprinkles, crushed peppermint, chopped nuts, candy, etc.

Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

Take a Reynolds Disposable Cookie Sheet with Parchment Lining and spread out a whole sleeve of saltine crackers on it.

  3. 3

In a small saucepan, put in a stick of butter (I used salted, but I think unsalted would be fine too) and 1 cup of brown sugar. Stir and melt it until you have a gooey spread.

  4. 4

Use a rubber spatula and spread it out over the crackers, then bake at 350°F for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Next, take it out of the oven and sprinkle 2 cups of chocolate chips over the top. Pop it back in the oven for another 5 minutes then spread the chocolate chips out!

  6. 6

Add sprinkles, chopped nuts, crushed peppermint, etc. to the top!

  7. 7

Now is the hard part... you have to let it harden. Stick it in the frig or freezer for at least 30 minutes or until it's set. Then break it up!

  8. 8

And when you're done... throw out that pan! Yippee!! Dishwashing is one of my least favorite things in the world so I love the easy of the Reynolds Disposable Bakeware!
