These garlic-Parmesan green beans are a quick and easy side dish made in just one skillet. They pair beautifully with anything from roasted chicken to grilled steak, baked salmon or stuffed portobello mushrooms.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add trimmed green beans; cook, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons garlic, ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper and ¼ teaspoon salt; cook, stirring often, until the garlic is light golden brown, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons Parmesan.
