Season chicken on both sides with garlic powder and 1 teaspoon each salt and white pepper.

  2. 2

In a large skillet on medium-high heat, add butter. Once hot, sear the seasoned chicken 6-8 minutes per side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Thighs will take a few extra minutes. Transfer to a plate and lower the heat to medium.

Add broth and scrape up any solid bits from the pan. Bring to a boil.

  5. 5

Add pasta and cook until al dente.

  6. 6

Whisk together cornstarch and heavy cream. Add the mixture to the pasta.

  7. 7

Stir in 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.

  8. 8

Place the cooked chicken on a cutting board and cut into strips.

  9. 9

Serve pasta in individual bowls topped with chicken. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
