This BLT pasta salad with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and pasta shells tossed in creamy salad dressing is perfect for summer potlucks and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1package medium seashell pasta
  • 1 poundsliced bacon
  • 2tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 smallonion, chopped
  • 1 ½ cupslight ranch-style salad dressing
  • ½ teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
  • 1romaine heart, shredded (about 3 cups)

Directions

    Gather all ingredients.

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; add pasta, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain, and rinse under cold water to cool.

    Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crisp.

    Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels; crumble and set aside.

    Combine cooked pasta, 3/4 of the bacon, tomatoes, onion, ranch dressing, and pepper in a large bowl; toss to coat.
