The name is nearly a joke—there's nothing about this "salad" that's leafy and green. But it is made with fresh apples, so that has to mean something, right? Get the recipe for Snickers salad.

Ingredients

  • 1pkg. vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix (such as jello)
  • 1 cupwhole milk
  • 1container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 4 largegranny smith apples, scrubbed and cut into 1/2-in. cubes (about 6 cups), divided
  • 5chocolate-covered caramel-peanut nougat bars (such as snickers), cut into 1/2-in. cubes (about 2 cups), divided
  • caramel syrup

    Gather all ingredients.

    Whisk together pudding mix and milk in a large bowl until well combined, about 2 minutes. Let stand until mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency, about 5 minutes.

    Fold in whipped topping until just combined. Fold in 5 1/2 cups of the apples and 1 1/2 cups of the nougat bars until combined.

    Transfer to a bowl. Top with remaining 1/2 cup apples and 1/2 cup nougat bars. Drizzle with caramel syrup.
