This truffle recipe makes a rich chocolate ganache that you can roll into truffles or use to fill chocolate candy molds for decadent homemade treats.

Ingredients

  • 12 ouncesbittersweet chocolate, chopped

  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract

    Combine chocolate and cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat; cook, stirring, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla. Pour into a small dish and refrigerate until set, but not hard, 1 ½ to 2 hours.
