Yard House Shiitake Garlic Noodles -Copycat Recipe

Copycat recipe of shiitake garlic noodles, a very popular dish at Yardhouse restaurant.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguini pasta (cooked according to package directions)
  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
  • 6 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/2 cup original stir fry sauce ( Lee Kum Kee brand)
  • Pasta cooking water (as needed)
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • 12 chives (cut into 1 inch lengths)

Directions

    Cook the linguini according to package directions and lightly coat with butter to prevent sticking while you are preparing the rest of the dish.

    Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat, then add the sliced mushrooms. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the mushrooms have softened and browned on the edges.

    Add the garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

    Add the honey, stir fry sauce and noodles. Toss to coat adding 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water to thin the sauce as needed.

    Top the finished noodles with parmesan cheese and chives.
