  • ½ cupwater
  • 1 cuppumpkin puree (not pumpkin filling)
  • ½ cupbrown sugar
  • 1 inchfresh ginger (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 3cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tspwhole cloves
  • 1 tspallspice berries
  • 1honeycrisp apple (cored and sliced)
  • 1navel orange (sliced)
