Make Stick of Butter Rice in the oven with just 4 pantry staples! It’s the perfect side dish that pairs well with just about anything!

Ingredients

  • 1 cuplong grain white rice
  • 1can condensed beef consommé (or 2 cups beef broth)
  • 2 cupWater
  • 1Dry onion soup mix
  • 8 tbspbutter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400℉.Lightly spray a 8x8" or 8x11" baking dish with cooking spray and sprinkle rice evenly over the bottom.

    Pour beef consommé, water, and onion soup mix over the rice and gently stir to combine.

    Slice a stick of butter and arrange evenly over the rice.

    Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes. Then uncover and bake another 10 minutes or until rice is tender and cooked.
