Beef and Noodles is the ultimate comfort food! This recipe combines beef with store bought noodles and broth to make this dish easy and quick.

Ingredients

  • canola oil
    ⅓ c
  • flour
    ⅓ c
  • low-sodium beef broth

    32 ounces

    1 container
  • milk
    1 c
  • water
    1 c
  • reames egg noodles

    24 ounces

    1 package
  • salt
    ½ tsp
  • black pepper
    ½ tsp
  • leftover or cooked roast beef

    about 8 ounces

    In a Dutch oven heat the oil over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and let it cook for about a minute. Add the beef broth, milk, 1 cup of water, salt, and pepper.

    Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, add the Reames noodles; reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 25-30 minutes or until the noodles are done to your liking. Add beef for the last 5 - 10 minutes to heat through. If necessary, add the other cup of water.
