Dehydrated Apples in Air Fryer

This simple way of dehydrating apples gives you the tastiest apple chips, perfect for a healthy snack or salad topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 largeapples, i used red
  • cinnamon powder

Directions

    Preheat air fryer to 150C (300F).

    Thinly slice the apples, without peeling. Core them if desired. You can either slice with a mandolin or a very sharp knife to 1/8 inch thickness. Place all the apple slices in a bowl, then sprinkle with cinnamon and toss to coat thoroughly.

    Add the apple slices to the air fryer without overcrowding. You may have to air fry in batches (I did two batches).

    Air fry for 14-16 minutes, tossing the slices around every 5 minutes or so.

    Once cooking time is over, remove onto a platter and let them cool at which point they'll crisp up further.

    Enjoy right away or store tightly covered at cool room temperature or in the fridge for up to one week.
