Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, (casings removed)
  • 8- oz uncooked spaghetti, (broken into thirds)
  • 1 (26-oz) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook ground beef and Italian sausage in a large skillet, stirring until crumbled and is no longer pink; drain the meat, and return to skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, water, and Italian seasoning.

    Spoon half of the meat mixture into a lightly greased 6-qt. slow cooker. Top with broken spaghetti. Spoon remaining half of meat mixture over top.

    Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.

    Cover and cook on Low 4 hours. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
