Sheet Pan Sticky Chicken with Pineapple and Broccoli is a mouthwatering dish that combines tender chicken pieces, juicy pineapple chunks, & crisp broccoli florets coated in a delectable honey sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (453 g) chicken breasts (skinless, boneless, cut in bite size pieces )
  • 1 small eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup (1.41 oz | 40 g) cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 cup (6.02 oz | 175 g) broccoli florets (add more if you want)
  • 1 cup (7.93 oz | 225 g) pineapple (fresh or canned)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce (2.02 fluid oz | 60 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 400℉ (204℃) . Grease a sheet pan.

    Add chicken in a large bowl and crack egg on it. Stir to combine.. Combine salt, pepper and cornstarch in another large bowl.

    Drain the excess egg off the chicken then toss it in the second bowl with the salt, pepper, and cornstarch. Place on the sheet pan.

    Drizzle the chicken with 1 and ½  tablespoons oil and bake for 10 minutes.

    In a medium bowl, toss broccoli and pineapple together with ½ tablespoon oil. Place on the other half of the sheet pan. Bake for another 10 minutes.

    Sticky Sauce: In the meantime, add cornstarch in a bowl then slowly add soy sauce while whisking with a fork to dissolve. Now stir in ginger, honey and chili paste.

    Pour on the chicken. Stir and bake for another 5 minutes.

    Remove, garnish and serve with rice.
