
This Cherry Vanilla Simple Syrup is the best of both worlds- fruity yet warm and cozy! With only 4 ingredients and in under 20 minutes, you'll have a full batch of syrup to put on anything and everything!
Place all ingredients in a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat.
Slowly stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Set a timer for 20 minutes, and continue to slowly stir, breaking apart the cherries as they soften.
Once the timer is done, turn off the heat and strain the simple syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove all cherry bits and pieces. Allow to come to room temperature before using.
Use syrup in drinks, over pancakes, or as needed.
