Franciasaláta is a Hungarian French salad recipe with potatoes, carrots, peas and apple, creating a deliciously creamy & crunchy dish, perfect as a side. You can serve this with grilled meats and BBQ, or enjoy it on its own as a light lunch option.

Ingredients

  • 2 mediumpotatoes
  • 2nbsp;carrots
  • 150 ggreen peas
  • 2pickled cucumber slices
  • 1 largeapple
  • 100 gmayonnaise
  • 200 gsour cream
  • 1 tbspmustard
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • salt
  • black pepper

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots, then finely dice them into small cubes.

    Mix with the green peas and cook until soft. Once cooked, strain them and let them cool.

    Add the diced apple and chopped cucumber when the vegetables have cooled down.

    In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Then add the vegetables and carefully combine.
