Almost anyone can enjoy a good meatball dinner every now and then, but have you ever had meatballs with Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce? The tangy, sweet and spicy sauce pairs perfectly with Trader Joe's Party Meatballs over mashed potatoes with a side of delicious veggies.
Place the frozen party meatballs in a pre-heated air fryer and air fry them at 400 for 8-10 min, giving them a shake halfway. Add a little bit more time if you're using the entire bag, and make sure not to overcrowd them (depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in batches).
In a saucepan, empty half of the jar of Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce and heat for a few minutes.
Add the cooked meatballs into the saucepan with the sauce and toss to coat. Heat together for a few minutes longer.
In a separate saucepan, add in the frozen mashed potatoes and heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Add the green beans to the air fryer, season with salt pepper and garlic powder and spray with cooking spray. Heat at 400 for 5 minutes, then give them a shake, add some grated parmesan cheese and heat for 5 minutes longer.
Plate the mashed potatoes, add the meatballs on top and serve the veggies on the side. Enjoy!
Non-Air Fryer Instructions for the meatballs: Microwave the party meatballs for 4 minutes.
