A delightful blend of classic banana pudding and crispy Rice Krispies treats, topped with fresh bananas and whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoonsbutter
  • 300 gramsmini marshmallows
  • 180 gramsrice krispies cereal
  • 1 packageinstant banana pudding mix
  • 480 millilitersmilk
  • 2ripe bananas, sliced
  • 240 milliliterswhipped cream
  • honey, for drizzling (optional)

Directions

    Prepare an 8-inch square pan by greasing it lightly with butter or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

    Remove the pan from the heat. Quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until all the cereal is coated in the glossy marshmallow mixture.

    Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan. Let cool for 10-15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and milk according to package instructions. Allow to thicken for a couple of minutes.

    Once the blond Rice Krispies base is cool, spread the banana pudding evenly over the top.

    Add a generous layer of sliced bananas right on top of the pudding.

    Spread or pipe a layer of whipped cream over the banana layer.

    For a sweet finishing touch, drizzle lightly with honey.
