Ingredients

  • 1 ½ poundschicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespooncornstarch or arrowroot powder/flour
  • oil sprayer bottle with grapeseed or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoonunsalted butter
  • 3garlic cloves, minced
  • ⅓ cupraw honey
  • ½ cuplow-sodium chicken broth or stock
  • 1 tablespoonlow-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonrice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • oil sprayer bottle
  • bowl
  • sharp knife
  • air fryer

Directions

    Place the chicken thighs in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper; add the cornstarch and toss until well coated.

    Place the chicken in the basket in a single layer sprayed with oil and air fry at 380ºF for 7 minutes on each side or until an internal temperature reaches 165ºF in the thickest part.

    Meanwhile, in a saucepan, add the butter and garlic on medium heat and cook until fragrant, around 30 seconds. Add the honey, soy sauce, chicken broth, and vinegar to the pan and stir to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer for 3-4 minutes or until the sauce is thickened.
