Pure comfort food this Crock Pot Cube Steak is easy to make, with no canned soup! Super flavorful, tender beef, and a delicious gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds cube steak
  • 1 ounce Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch

Directions

    Arrange cube steak in the base of the crockpot. Add mushrooms, and sprinkle over the onion soup mix. Pour in beef broth to cover.

    Put on the lid and cook on how for 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

    Mix together water and cornstarch, whisk into the broth. Leave the lid off and cook for 30 minutes for the gravy to thicken.

    Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles or as desired.
