Dirty Rice Cajun Quiche Recipe - spice up your brunch game with our mouthwatering Cajun Quiche! Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) box Zatarain’s Dirty Rice (plus water called for on the package)
  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie crust
  • ⅓ -lb andouille sausage or smoked sausage
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ½ tsp cajun seasoning

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350ºF.

    Prepare the dirty rice mix as directed. Set aside.

    In a large skillet, cook andouille sausage over medium-high heat until golden brown.

    Place 1 cup of dirty rice and the cooked sausage in the bottom of a deep-dish pie crust. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and green onions.

    In a bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, and cajun seasoning. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage mixture.

    Place the quiche on a baking pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick or knife inserted into the middle of the quiche comes out clean or with a few crumbs. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into slices.
