Old School Chicken Noodle Casserole recipe - comfort food at its best! Chicken and noodles loaded with cream cheese, parmesan cheese, sour cream, and topped with buttery Ritz cracker crumbs. YUM! Use a rotisserie chicken and this comes together in minutes! Chicken, egg noodles, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Can make in advance and refrigerate or freeze for later.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) package medium egg noodles
  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can Unsalted Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1½ cups sour cream
  • 1 (8-oz) cream cheese, (room temperature)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, (to taste)
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, (crushed)
  • ¼ cup butter, (melted)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

    Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

    Remove skin from rotisserie chicken and discard. Pull meat from chicken and chop.

    In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

    Add cooked noodles and chopped chicken. Mix until thoroughly combined.

    Spread mixture into prepared pan.

    In a small bowl, combine Ritz cracker crumbs and melted butter. Top the casserole with cracker crumbs.

    Bake uncovered for 45 to 55 minutes, until bubbly.
