Traditional Cheesecake Recipe Evaporated Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cupsgraham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cupbuttermelted
  • ¼ cupgranulated sugar
  • 3 packagescream cheeseat room temperature
  • 4 largeeggs
  • 1 cannestlé® carnation® sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cupall-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoonslemon juice
  • 1 tablespoongrated lemon peel
  • 1 cupsour cream
  • fruit pie filling or fruit topping (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350º F.

    Combine graham cracker crumbsbutter and sugar in small bowl. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of ungreased 9-inch springform pan.

    Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.

    Beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk in large mixer bowl. Beat in eggsflourlemon juice and lemon peel. Pour into crust.

    Bake for 50 minutes. Remove from oven; spread with sour cream.

    Bake for 10 minutes or until edge is set but center still moves slightly. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Garnish with fruit topping.
