These mashed red potatoes are as good as it gets! Made with butter, milk, and sour cream, they're a dreamy side dish everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds small red potatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. The water must be boiling before you add the potatoes.

    Add the potatoes and cook them for about 10 minutes. They should be tender but still firm. Drain the water.
