Ingredients

  • 10 cupsgranny smith apples (peeled, cored and sliced into ⅛ inch thick slices then cut the slices in half)
  • ½ cuplight brown sugar, tightly packed
  • ⅓ cupall-purpose flour
  • ¼ cupgranulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoonsground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoonground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  • 1 ⅓ cupsquick cooking oats
  • 1 ⅓ cupsall-purpose flour
  • 1 cuplight brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 1 ½ teaspoonsground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoonsalt
  • ½ teaspoonbaking powder
  • ¾ cupunsalted butter, melted

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick baker’s spray. Set aside.

    To a large mixing bowl, combine apple slices, sugars, flour, spices, and vanilla. Spread into baking dish.

    In a bowl, mix oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Add melted butter and stir until combined.
