Friends, This dish is absolutely delicious from the tasty sauce poured over the noodles, to the perfectly cooked ground turkey this dish is going to blow you away. The best part about this dish is it only takes fifteen minutes to make so you won't be in the kitchen cooking for too long you'll be in and out with a delicious meal. This dish has 1lb of mafaldine pasta which is the perfect pasta for this dish, topped with 1lb of ground turkey. with onions, carrots, heavy cream, garlic powder, all the good stuff combined into one beautiful dish. Ingredients

  • 1 lbground turkey
  • 1 lbmafaldine pasta
  • 1 smallsweet onion (chopped)
  • 6garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1carrot (chopped)
  • 32 ozmarinara sauce
  • ¾ cupheavy cream
  • 3 tbspolive oil
  • ½ tspcrushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 tsp1/2 tsp sea salt (divided)
  • 1 tsp1/2 tsp cracked black pepper (divided)
  • garnish with pecorino romano & chopped parsley

Directions

    In a pan with high sides, add in olive oil and carrots. Sauté the carrots for 5-7 minutes. Then add in onions, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, 1 tsp salt & black pepper (add more salt & pepper if needed). Sauté that about 1-2 minutes.

    Add garlic and sauté for another minute.

    Season turkey with 1/2 tsp salt & black pepper, and add the turkey into the pan. Sauté until turkey is browned.

    Add marinara sauce to the pan.

    Fill the marinara jar with 3/4 cup of heavy cream, pop the lid on, shake it up to get the excess marinara out, and pour it into the pan. Bring the pan to a boil, pop the lid on, and lower it to a simmer.

    let that simmer for 8-10 minutes.

    Boil the pasta according to package directions and once the pasta is done add it to a serving bowl.

    Pour your bolognese sauce over the top and grate over some Pecorino Romano cheese and sprinkle over some fresh parsley. Enjoy!
